Hey guys! Last week on Instagram I shared a sneak peek photo of the shoot I styled for and I wanted to share some more pictures with you today. I had the opportunity of styling the talented Hannah Haider for a youthful suburbia shoot a few weeks ago, and had a blast. The amazing photos were shot by Caleb Alvarado and he did a great job as usual (Check out more of his work here). His photos are always amazing, and I love love love how editorial they are, seeing that I love editorial work. Hannah’s makeup was done by the fabulous Trish Nenes which turned out simple but just enough for the aesthetic (Check out some more of her work here).
Let me tell you guys that I was sooo nervous to do this because I was fully responsible for all of the looks, so there was definitely a lot of pressure on me. Plus, I had no idea what to expect going into it, so I thought I was going to be a mess. But after getting there and feeling it out, I got comfortable very quickly, and it was such a great leaning experience for me. It also helped that everybody was nice, so I really appreciated that as well. What I really noticed that I liked about shooting was the fact that I was behind the scenes, because believe it or not, I hate being the center of attention. I didn’t have to worry about being seen at all which is exactly how I like it to be honest lol.
The theme of the shoot was very vintage-like, but youthful at the same time. Hannah’s home was perfect for it because there were such great landscape areas all around us. We shot her in about five different looks that all stuck closely to the vintage theme that we had going. One of my favorites was definitely the pleated midi dress with the collar.
What was your favorite look from this shoot?
